Interested in learning how you can play a key role in local oyster restoration at no cost? Oyster reefs were once abundant in Tampa Bay, cleaning the water & supporting diverse fish and invertebrates. But as seawalls replaced natural shorelines, the majority of our reefs were lost along with their benefits to the Bay. A team of biologists, designers, & researchers at the University of South Florida are designing a way for our coastal communities to work towards bringing their vital reefs back.

Oyster Bricks are an innovative natural clay 3D printed oyster habitats which can restore compact & healthy oyster reefs in your neighborhood’s waterways and are currently looking for homes throughout Tampa Bay for our interest list in hopes of securing further funding to launch the project.
